Monster Juiced
11 November 2024
Sugar and sweeteners; Pick a lane, yo.
Why did I buy this? Well two reasons: one is that Monster drinks have a pretty solid track record with me, and two is that enticing artwork. And, as is often the case I've found, they've spent most of their development budget on the graphics. Don't get me wrong, it does taste a bit like apples. Or at least a sickly, flat Sainsburys Basics apple juice.
Literally "fruit juice from fruit juice concentrate (6%) (apple (4.7%), ..), ..)" so we're dealing with 0.282% apple hahah. The rest is generally sugar, glucose syrup, lemon juice, etc and you can really tell. Also the latest round of additives like B-vitamins, taurine and L-Carnatine. Why? I was happy with just caffeine but whatever, shoot my metabolism to the moon.
I can't imagine why you'd buy this unless you enjoy cheap apple-juice-from-concentrate but always think to yourself man, I wish this was caffeinated.
