Energy Drunk

In a way I wanted to hate this.

So far I've liked every Monster drink and it seems a little bias. I opened the can and saw that it looks like hot hangover piss.

Pencilling in a 1 rating, I took a swig. I really shouldn't have judged it so quickly as it's actually delicious. The flavour is more appley/peachy/pineappley/grapey than I anticipated.. being so often disappointed by 'tropical' flavour drinks which seem to include exclusively orange juice.

I'm not a fan of carbonated orange flavour drinks.. for example with Fanta, I can take it or leave it, fortunately this particular drink avoids all the typical lazy orange-juice-from-concentrate flavouring pitfalls and tastes genuinely fruity. Not to mention sweet as you'd like, with less calories than other full fat Monster drinks.

The only reason I'm taking a point off is that it honestly looks gross, like a malnourished, dehydrated homeless man's strained kidney-stone laden piss.
